See how KrellTech’s SpecPro™ system can be used for quick fiber optic connector repair, polishing, and in-line inspection without removing the component from the machine. In this demonstration, we show an FC/UPC connector as one example of how SpecPro can support photonic connector polishing and repair. The same general process can be applied across a wide range of connector sizes and styles, giving operators a fast way to polish, inspect, and verify endface quality in one compact system. By combining polishing and in-line video inspection, SpecPro helps reduce unnecessary handling between process steps while allowing operators to quickly evaluate polishing results. This can be especially useful for fiber optic connector repair, R&D labs, production environments, and applications where repeatability and component protection are important. For single-component processing, KrellTech also offers compact solutions like the Proton™ system. For higher-throughput applications, KrellTech’s 5-inch NOVA™ platform can process up to 12 connectors at a time, depending on the connector type and fixture configuration.
