What is the drifference between a work holder and fixture?

Both terms are used in the polisher industry to describe the same device that holds connectors, termini, adapters, etc., and engage with a base polishing machine.

Yes, the Universal Workholder supports Elio, and all UPC style Mil-Spec termini.

Hello, currently have both Aluminum Oxide & Silicon Carbide PSA 4" pads that we use to polish Glass Die facets. Can you advise on advantages of one type over another? We use these for optical polish after grind.

For a particular abrasive "grit" size, silicon carbide particles are harder and sharper than aluminum oxide. SC will cut a surface faster, but AO will typically provide a smoother finish.

Hello, Would it be possible to polish at 60° ? Maybe with a longer fiber holder ?

Yes. Adapters are available for both Radian and NOVA, that extend the polish angle to 60 degrees. We will directly email a quotation for both systems.

Is there a video I can watch on how to properly clean a connector using this CleanTouch product?

We do not have a video. However, the correct procedure is just to lightly touch the ferrule tip to the cleaning port and remove. Do not twist or wipe. No solvents are required. It is suggested to use each port only once. If you would like a sample, please contact sales@krelltech.com.
